Bubble Aid!

It's shaping up to be a pretty busy summer for us at FreakYIslanDStyleY! This weekend we have some of the islands best DJs dropping down to The Funky Bubble to show their support to the place that has supported Duncans music scene and given us all a clean/safe place to party.

I also have prepared the most electric of all local blog posts we have seen in a more than quite a while, so you are all in for a treat. lets start things off right with a few free downloads. Please excuse if I posted some of this on either the facebook page or on the blog when these were released. If you haven't heard them before, hit up the downloads :)

Gotta love Drute-z, his high energy mixes and performances blow me away! I personally am not one for fidget but I have nothing but respect for this guy. He always draws a crowd and has always had the ability to keep them dancing for his entire set.

It also has been a while since we have posted anything from DJ Y@ and I think its time for a banger from him. Hes a terrific producer and a great DJ! He has rocked dancefloors all over the island and now I am so excited to have him play at The Funky Bubble for the first time and hopefully more in the future. Bootleg Love

Hey everyone, we are giving some much needed attention to the old site. :) Sharing music is my passion and I am stoked to find so many people blogging their favorite tunes. This post has got to be special, considering the new background and I finally added the logo to the page. Also you may notice the e-flyer I made up at the top of the post.(There is more info/ link to the event page at the end of this post.)

I must give huge respect where respect is due. Philly Blunt has a blog of his own just STOCKED with great tunes and mixes. I love everything on his soundcloud page and raided the bootleg blog for all it had! :D You may notice the permanent link on the links/blogroll list but may as well post a bunch of links..... And maybe a few of his productions.

I love The music coming ou of Australia!!! One more DJ/producer from down under has caught my eye recently. Check out Thoko, his music is pure gold!! His debut EP 'Bass Odyssey' is available soon on Globe Cinema Records. I will keep you posted for the release because i'm so excited for it

After Superfriends

Thanks everyone for coming out to Superfriends 3!! J Gib and Chillout did an amazing job on putting this massive event together. Bringin' Busta

Not long until Busta comes out to Canada and are you as stoked as I am? I have been promoting the shit out of this name because I am so amazed how well things are working out for him. Between the plans for multiple tours and the slick tracks, edits and bootys that have gotten massive rapport from producers like: Pimpsoul, DJP, Stickybuds, Hayz, Slynk and Featurecast.
