technical difficulties

For the past while my computer has been giltching out on me due to a nasty virus, Luckily I haven't personally hosted any of these files from my computer so you are safe.

What a great weekend and line up at December Mayhem, good crown, good vibes and one packed funk house. There was technical difficulties that night but our talent rose through everything.Big ups to Jamie Gib for throwing the event Chemikal, Grasp the Erro, DJ Whitness and so many more of our talented DJs.

HUGE respect to Phrase for dropping all my favorite dubstep tunes and dealing with the technical difficulties like a champ and resorting to just a laptop and a mixer.
So young and So talented. You are going places! I posted his set in a previous post so I can't post that. So I will post my favorite track he dropped that night. (I posted it on the facebook page weeks ago sorry for the train spotting)

Now for DJ Whitness, who ripped it up with Grasp The Erro both dealing with the technical problems beautifully. They started out with some KILLER drum and bass but the crowd was stuck on a lower tempo while the sound was down, Nice recovery with some filthy Dubstep though.

I just have to post some of her sets over the next few days because I like em all!

02. KG with MC Tali - Tali Story [Easy Records/Sativa Records]

09. Double Zero - Skank Nasty [Propaganda Recordings]
10. Unknown vs MIA - Unstoppable [white label]
11. Clipz - Ugly feat Holly G [Audio Zoo Recordings]

Enjoy, I did!

No snow dance?

This is it, December Mayhem, time to bump in the funk house. Such a sick lineup, check it out on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/event.php?eid=155985514345
I am going to throw more tunes on the tube soon enough. Remember it is the holidays and I have family to visit and share the love with.

I think this post should be a little bit about Jon-e Industry. He was at the Top of the Island DnB scene for quite a while then one day disapeared. When he returned to the Island he began to show us his love for house, fidget and electro. I would love to post his tracks on youtube but sending all those exclusive tunes is a huge ammount of trust for someone he doesn't really know(I will try really hard to get Jon-E tunes on youtube for instant listening pleasure)

Seriously just check out all of these! Golden DnB sets of his with track listing

Jon-E Fucking Industy - DnB Mixes It's JFI when he spins DnB

Then his killer Electro, Fidget and house sets

Jon-E Industry - Electro, fidget mixes

What is the point of only throwing one or two mixes down? They are all good, so enjoy.

Now here's a new jump up track I have been addicted to for a few days

Enjoy everyone, I hope to see you at December Mayhem

Peace
Dustin

I Got My Old Theme Song

1 More day until December Mayhem, If I could afford flyers, stickers and such to try and promote this blog and the FreakyIslandStyleS Channel I would. Don't be suprised to see some weirdo with a jiffy marker and paper writing websites down a bunch.... lol (Ghetto but I just want the music out there and in peoples ear-pussys)

Does anyone like tasty treats? Here Is a tune I have been searching hard and I even dug through a German blog or two. This weekend is just over the horizon so lets start it off right.

Finger and Kadel - I Got My Stereo

Heres a Tune on the Tube by Neo1 and MC VI. I am lovin' this tune, now Neo1 is making some tracks on the sunny beaches of Thailand. I am stoked to hear those tunes!!!!!

I have to post this old DJ Fresh track because, just like "I got my Stereo" this was one of my own personal theme songs that would just make me more determined while I moved.

Alright, enjoy I know I had fun!

Peace

Growing

We broke 350 fans!! I am also stoked on all the support and feed back on the facebook page. (with a wide variety of tunes) The steady flow of DJ's and producers letting me throw their material on the blog is awesome.

Here is a few sets in a zip file by Kenzie Clarke. Choice tracks! amazing mixes

DJ Kenzie Clarke - Pack of mix

Heres a killer mix made by Tedder in May 2009, It has beautiful drum and bass, the sunshine I have been promising by none other than Tedder (best DJ to hear while the sun is rising)

Tedder - Long Time Coming

I hope you enjoy the varaiety in this post.

Dustin

remember to share!

It has been a while since I have posted any down-loadable tracks, I guess I have been teasing you all so I think It's about time I threw down a bunch of tunes you can listen to until your ears turn into dust.

I have to post more by Jayou because of his different take on dubstep, heavy swagga while keeping his tracks at a fast enough flow to keep a dance floor highly entertained.

The Cheek – Hung Up (Jayou Remix)

A dubstep remix from an older liquid DnB track, makes for an epic tune

In context – Far from here(Ishe remix)

TIPPER!

Tipper - Deez Bass Lessen

Some DnB love

Sub Focus - Last Jungle

The lyrics are just so funny I had to post it.

OH SNAP!! - Plus Size Models(Jakwob Wobble Edit)

I am in the mood for some sun shiney DnB with some beautiful vocals and lyrics. Thanks to Jolene from Kitta MunHa Promotions for sending me this, now I want the warm back!

I hope everyone enjoys this post and I am anticipating my next.

Peace

Dustin

Great weekend!

I hope everyone had a good weekend, I know I had a fun time at Toy Soldiers. It wasn't the biggest turn out but there was room to dance. The 3 hours of DJ Jelo felt like an eternity, he just had poor tracks and bad mixes. Everyone else rocked the house, speaking of which Thumper played some pretty good oldschool hard house tracks.

The one thing that wasn't played at that party was good DnB, so why not post a mix from

White-Light just because he tore it up at November Rain a few weeks ago. With a surprisingly smooth transition from house to drum and bass that night. This set though is all DnB check it out.

White-Light - There's Drum 'n Bass In My Personal Space

London Elektricity - Attack Ships On Fire [Hospital]
Rregula, Smooth & Dementia - On A Mission [Drumwise]
Platnum - Trippin' (Nero Remix) [Hard 2 Beat]
Metrik - Anthem 09 [White]
High Contrast - Metamorphosis [Hospital]
Shock One - Don't You Know feat. Elisha King [Viper]
Shock One - Polygon [DnBArena]
Kaskade & Deadmau5 - I Remember (J Majik & Wickaman Remix) [Mau5trap]
Chaos Theory - Anything feat. David Landers [Soul Aspiration]
Logistics - Platinum [Hospital]
Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith - Tokto Electric [Technique]
Qemists feat Jenna G - On The Run [Ninja Tune]
Shock One - The Sun [Technique]
Jokers Of The Scene - Baggy Bottom Boys (High Contrast Remix) [Fool's Gold]
Ross D - The 215 [Playloop]

Now for another Tune on the Tube from Neon Steve, I am constantly amazed by his work.

I was going to save this for a rainy day but its driving me insane, I must post this track!

Tomorrow is another day, I will have a few more mixes, maybe a track or two. Just come back and find out tomorrow!

Peace

Dustin

Crushinator and bass

Ready for more tunes? I think so. First off I have to give respect to all of our islands DJ's and producers for giving the music scene what it has today. I'm stoked on the variety there is to offer but more people should spin glitch hop or old school jungle

by the way heres a mix by netsky

Netsky - DnB arena podcast

Now for the New tune on the tube LSDJ-50 The Crushinator. You may have seen how much I love DnB but I think this track is pretty damned stellar!

I hope you like these because you just wait until there is 300 fans in the Facebook group, that's a special post
